this number call my house for five times today. what are this people they dont have anything better to do

Received 2 calls, nobody talking on the other side.

They never leave a message for me and hang up when I answer. If they call about a friend or relative- they are NEVER to say the friend or relative owes money. They are allowed to call you to leave a phone number or ask for better contact information. They may only say it is a business matter. If they actually say your friend or relative owes money, they are then in violation of the FDCPA- your relative may be entitled $$ for this breach of privacy. The collection agency itself will be fined by the government $1000 if it is the first time and more money on successive violations.

I received an e-mail that posted this Verizon telephone number. In the text of the e-mail they ask for money: "I will like you to please assist me with a soft loan of 13 hundred in British pounds(£1300)approximately 1,943.49 in USD.I need it urgently to sort-out my Cousin's bills, the hospital management is demanding for a deposit before they can invite a surgeon from Malaysia to carry out the surgery but she has been place on a temporary medical care prior the time we make the deposit.I know its been a longtime and i don't want you to see these like something else."

This number phones me daily threatening that I am being arrested each week bc I supposedly owe a payday advance which I have never done...When I ask for paperwork they hang up on me...They have info on me like my ss# and place of employment but, just say we will see you in court and hang up on me then start over the next day calling each time giving me the name of a different payday advance.

Unknown caller called my cell phone at 9AM date. Appears to be unsolicited commercial call. Please advise

Called and asked for another person in the household and I said they weren't there and they started making fun of their name and being very rude I called the number back and all I get was a busy signal. I tried asking who was calling and they would not tell me.
